Princess Catherine recently treated her three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis — to a magical day out at the set of the new Harry Potter series.
What was meant to be a fun and enchanting experience for the young royals nearly turned awkward, however, when Prince Andrew made an unexpected appearance with his own grandchildren.
According to the Daily Mail, the Wales family’s visit was meticulously planned and turned out to be a huge success. The filming location, only a short drive from their home in Windsor Great Park, offered the perfect opportunity for a royal day out. Sources said that Catherine went out of her way to ensure her children enjoyed “a first-class Hogwarts experience.”
On September 26, George, Charlotte, and Louis were welcomed warmly by cast members and even met the show’s director while scenes were being filmed at Hogsmeade Station.
Little Louis was especially enchanted, reportedly lighting up with excitement when he stepped aboard the famous Hogwarts Express. “He seemed to absolutely love it,” one insider shared, calling the outing a “special evening for the family.”

Prince Andrew’s Unexpected Appearance
Just as the Wales family’s magical adventure wrapped up, Prince Andrew appeared on set — unannounced and entirely unexpected. The Duke of York arrived with his grandchildren, Princess Eugenie’s sons, August and Ernest, and Princess Beatrice’s daughters, Sienna and baby Athena.
