Meghan Markle has sparked fresh controversy after posting a new video and photo of her daughter, Princess Lilibet, on Instagram to mark International Day of the Girl.

The Duchess of Sussex shared a short clip of four-year-old Lilibet running across a lawn at the family’s Montecito home, alongside a photo showing the two holding hands beside a quiet pond.

As with previous images, Lilibet’s face was not visible — only her distinctive wavy red hair could be seen.

While many fans praised the post as heartwarming and empowering, critics accused Meghan of hypocrisy, arguing that it contradicts her long-standing stance on protecting her children’s privacy.

“I thought she wanted privacy? Yet she keeps posting these carefully staged pictures,” one user commented. Others branded the post “attention-seeking,” claiming she was “teasing the public for engagement.”

Supporters quickly came to her defense, saying the Duchess has every right to share photos on her own terms, without revealing her children’s identities. “Sharing a picture of your child that you choose to post is not the same as having their privacy invaded,” one fan wrote. “She’s setting boundaries, not breaking them.”
