Gene Hackman’s friend says getting old ‘bothered him’

Part 1 of 2

Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa, were found dead at their Santa Fe home in February. Authorities ruled his death as natural causes.

Hackman, married to Arakawa for over 30 years, was deeply loved by his family. His daughters and granddaughter expressed their devastation over the loss.

Police found no signs of foul play but conducted carbon monoxide and toxicology tests as part of the investigation.

Gene Hackman dead at 95

Authorities found no signs of struggle or missing items in the home of Hackman and Arakawa. Officials confirmed the couple had been deceased for some time before being discovered.

A 911 call recording revealed an emotional caller urging dispatchers to send help, saying, “They’re not moving.”

Hackman’s daughter, Leslie, stated there were no prior health concerns, as he remained active with Pilates and yoga. While his passing was not shocking due to his age, she admitted they hadn’t spoken in months despite being close.

“He was in a very poor state of health”

There are no credible reports confirming that Gene Hackman has passed away. The actor, known for films like The French Connection, is still alive as of recent updates.

Additionally, there is no evidence that his wife, Betsy Arakawa, died from hantavirus. This claim appears to be a hoax or misinformation.
