Sure, the King has the power to remove HRH styles—no need for Parliament. Archie and Lilibet qualified for theirs under old royal rules once Charles became monarch. But William? He’s not likely to stir the pot.
“He’s a smart diplomat,” Fitzwilliams told Royal Insider. “He’ll want to avoid unnecessary backlash—especially after what happened in Denmark when Queen Margrethe stripped titles from her grandkids. That was messy.”
“The Kids Aren’t to Blame”
Another big reason? Public sympathy. Archie and Lilibet didn’t cause the royal rift. Stripping their titles could easily backfire, making William look spiteful. That’s not a look the future King wants.
