Prince Harry Responds To Claims He ‘Punched Prince Andrew In The Face’ Over Comments About Meghan

Prince Harry has issued a response following explosive claims made by royal biographer Andrew Lownie.

In his book Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, Lownie alleges that Harry once gave his uncle, Prince Andrew, a bloody nose after he made an insulting comment about Meghan Markle.

Adding to the controversy, Andrew has also been named in allegations tied to the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

In his book, Lownie portrays the Duke of York as “obsessed, vulgar, vile,” and alleges that he bullied Meghan. He claims Andrew’s inappropriate behavior long preceded his connection with Epstein, tracing back to his school days when he was nicknamed “Randy Andy”—a label that stuck with him into his sixties.

Family Strained by Andrew’s Behavior

Lownie also quotes Epstein as saying that Andrew’s sexual preferences were darker than his own. “From the reports I’ve got back from the women we’ve shared,” Lownie quotes Epstein, “he’s the most perverted animal in the bedroom. He likes to engage in stuff that’s even kinky to me—and I’m the king of kink!”

According to the book, Andrew’s presence had become such a problem for the royal family that a private meeting was held in 2021 to discuss how to handle him. He was labeled “ungracious and ungrateful,” and the family agreed there was “no way back” for him.

One point of tension reportedly came from his poor relationship with his nephews, particularly Prince Harry.

Alleged Altercation Between Harry and Andrew

In one alleged incident in 2013, Harry found out that Andrew had made a derogatory remark about Meghan. Furious, he confronted his uncle, called him a coward, and challenged him to repeat the comment to his face. According to Lownie, a physical fight broke out, ending with Andrew sporting a bloody nose.

Even after the alleged scuffle, Andrew reportedly continued making harsh comments, once mocking Harry for not investigating Meghan’s past and predicting that their marriage would last “no longer than a month.”

Harry, upset, later confided in Prince William, expressing his deep dislike for their uncle—something the two brothers are said to still agree on.

Prince William Wants Andrew Out

According to Lownie, Prince William has taken active steps to remove Andrew from Royal Lodge, his residence in Windsor Great Park. He believes Andrew is “abusing the property and his privilege” and reportedly has no love for Andrew’s ex-wife Sarah Ferguson either.

“If Charles doesn’t [evict them], I guarantee you the first thing William does when he eventually becomes king is to get them evicted,” Lownie claims.

Harry’s Team Denies It All

In response to the book’s claims, Prince Harry’s representatives issued a firm denial. Speaking to the New York Post, a spokesperson said:

“I can confirm Prince Harry and Prince Andrew have never had a physical fight, nor did Prince Andrew ever make the comments he is alleged to have made about the Duchess of Sussex to Prince Harry.”

The statement also accused Lownie of including “gross inaccuracies, damaging and defamatory remarks” in his book.

Public Reaction: Mixed Opinions

Some royal watchers welcomed the idea of accountability. “There will be a day of reckoning when Prince William accedes the throne,” one person wrote. “I don’t think he will tolerate this reckless behavior.”

Others were skeptical. “It’s probably a load of rubbish from someone trying to flog a book,” said one critic.

Another reader took Harry’s side, commenting: “Maybe Harry didn’t like what Andrew was, unlike the rest of them who are covering up for [him].”
