TRAGEDY: U.S Plane Crashes into Car on Road; Only One Survivor

A plane crash that occurred on the afternoon of November 5 at Falcon Field Airport in Mesa, Arizona, left 4 people dead and 1 survived.

Five people, including a child, lost their lives when a small plane went off course during takeoff, broke through a fence, and crashed into a car outside the airport in Arizona on November 5.

According to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), the Honda HA-420 jet crashed around 4:40 p.m. at Falcon Field Airport in Mesa. In a statement to CNN, the NTSB noted, “Preliminary information indicates the plane struck the airport’s perimeter fence and a car parked outside.”

Mesa Fire and Medical Department spokesperson Marrisa Ramirez-Ramos reported that five people died in the accident.

The Mesa Police Department identified the four people on the plane who were killed at the scene as Spencer Lindahl (43), Rustin Randall (48), Drew Kimball (44), and Graham Kimball (12), all residents of Arizona. The fifth person survived the crash but is hospitalized with severe burns.

The driver of the car, who was struck by the plane, also died, but authorities are withholding the individual’s identity pending verification.

A witness, Joshua Golabi, told CNN that the plane broke through a metal fence and “a few concrete walls.” As a pilot himself, Golabi did not witness the crash directly but heard its impact. Both the plane and the car were completely destroyed on the spot.

“We were just about to board a plane for departure when we heard the explosion and saw a column of smoke,” Golabi said. “This incident is truly tragic and serves as a reminder to all pilots to fly as safely as possible.”

The NTSB is leading the investigation into the crash, a spokesperson said.
