The Robinson family moved to a house in a remote area because they wanted to start a farm. Mrs. Robinson was expecting their second child, a boy, in less than four months. As soon as they settled in, they began preparing the baby’s room.

The Robinsons were fond of animals, but their previous landlord didn’t allow them to have a dog. Now, they were thrilled to finally adopt one. Despite his tragic background, the Robinsons decided to give Benson a chance and brought him home. They hoped he would grow into a loving member of their family.
