Charles’s Reported Disdain for Red Hair
While Charles may be pleased to see new images of his grandchildren, whom he has not seen in years, their ginger hair is likely not to his taste. The red-haired “Spencer gene,” passed down from Princess Diana’s side, was also present in Harry — something Charles allegedly complained about.
Former royal butler Paul Burrell recalled the monarch’s reaction in his book The Royal Insider: My Life with the Queen, the King, and Princess Diana. Speaking with The Mirror, he described Charles’s response when he first saw baby Harry: “Oh, red hair.”
Diana reportedly reminded him, “But, Charles, you know that’s the Spencer gene. We’ve all got red hair.” Burrell claimed the moment soured further when Charles allegedly remarked, “Well, at least I’ve got my heir and spare now and… I can return to Camilla.”

Harry on Reliving Childhood Memories
In the documentary, Harry reflected on experiencing Disneyland again through his children’s eyes. “I went with my mom and my brother… I remember losing it as a kid with all the characters. Like, losing it,” he recalled.
Speaking about Lilibet’s birthday celebration, he added, “To see the kids throw themselves into these experiences when they have no idea what they’re walking into — it was amazing. And it brings out the kid in you again.”
