Elon Musk’s son, X Æ A-12, definitely made a memorable impression when he accompanied his father to a White House press conference with President Donald Trump.

The meeting, held by Musk, 53, and Trump, 78, was set up for them to answer questions from reporters and to witness Trump sign an executive order that requires federal agencies to work with the Department of Government Efficiency’s (DOGE) efforts to reduce costs.

However, it was the four-year-old, known as X for short, who stole the spotlight during the important event in the Oval Office. He made faces, climbed all over his dad, and even appeared to wipe his nose on the Resolute desk.

It quickly went viral. One person commented: “Elon’s kid is munching on his boogers right in front of Trump.”

Another viewer added: “I’m watching Elon Musk’s son pick his nose, eat the boogers, and then wipe them on the Resolute desk. No way this kid isn’t driving Trump crazy.”

The internet has been buzzing, trying to figure out what little X said to Trump during their meeting, with some speculating that he told the former president, “I want you to shut your mouth up.”

Other viewers, however, believe the child said: “You are not the president, you need to go away.”

X, one of the three children Musk has with his ex-girlfriend Grimes, seemed to shush someone off-camera before telling them to “shut your mouth.” He also playfully stuck his fingers in his father’s ears, which caused reporters to chuckle.

“I thought my son might enjoy this, but he’s sticking his fingers in my ears and stuff,” Musk remarked, adding, “So it’s been hard to hear sometimes.”

Grimes unhappy about son being in the Oval Office

Grimes, whose real name is Claire Boucher, recently expressed her discontent after her son’s unexpected appearance in the Oval Office stirred up attention online.

She took to Musk’s platform X to share her thoughts on the situation.

In a reply to another user, she wrote: “He should not be in public like this. I did not see this, thank u for alerting me. But I’m glad he was polite. Sigh.”

Musk and Grimes were in a relationship for four years before deciding to separate for good, two years after the birth of X in 2022.

Together, they also have two other children: Techno Mechanicus, who is two, and daughter Exa Dark Sideræl, who is three.
