Prince Andrew urged to move abroad and ‘start new life’ amid Epstein scandal

Part 2 of 2

Following the latest developments, royal commentators are urging Andrew to start a new life outside the UK.

Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive Show, royal author Ingrid Seward said the scandal “won’t go away,” while commentator Phil Dampier added: “If I was him, I would go and live somewhere else. I’d say, ‘I’m not wanted anymore, it’s obvious I have no future here.’ Start a new life while you can.”

Richard Fitzwilliams told Royal Insider that the idea of Andrew and Sarah Ferguson leaving Britain “would be manna from heaven for the royal family,” suggesting exile could help limit the damage to the monarchy’s reputation.

“This is a massive scandal,” Fitzwilliams warned. “It will worsen when Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous memoir is published and more material emerges from the Epstein files.” He also recommended that the couple downsize from their 30-room Royal Lodge residence in Windsor.

Sarah Ferguson has faced her own controversies. A resurfaced 2011 email revealed she once described Epstein as a “supreme friend,” allegedly sent just weeks after promising to cut ties with him. A spokesperson later claimed the message was sent under duress after Epstein threatened legal action for defamation.

With growing pressure and worsening headlines, royal watchers believe Andrew’s best option may be to step away completely — not just from public life, but from Britain itself.
