Prince William is said to consider his brother Prince Harry as “background noise” after the younger brother released an explosive memoir.
Prince William is reportedly “keeping his family away” from his brother due to a long-running rift between the pair. According to Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell, the door to Adelaide Cottage is “firmly shut” to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
A rift between the two brothers is said to have been bubbling for years, but was made worse by explosive claims in Harry’s memoir Spare. Harry claimed tensions reached boiling point when William physically attacked him in a row over Meghan, leading to the younger brother falling onto a dog bowl.

The book was released after Harry and Meghan sensationally quit life as working royals, uprooting their family to Montecito, California.
Now, Burrell who worked with William until 1997, says he won’t be reuniting with his brother anytime soon.
Speaking to Closer, he said: “Make no mistake, William is keeping Kate and his family well away from Meghan and Harry.
“The door of Adelaide Cottage is shut – and there is no way in for Harry and Meghan.
“William knows that Harry can’t be trusted and doesn’t want any more upset in his family.”
